Do you have a recipe for the best casserole in the world?

Yes!





My grandmother makes the most delicious casserole I have ever had.





1 lb potatoes


1 cup chopped broccoli


录 cup diced onions


录 cup fat-free cottage cheese


录 teaspoon dill weed


录 teaspoon salt


1/8 teaspoon pepper


陆 cup fat free sour cream


1陆 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese (we prefer to use Kraft brand but you can use any brand of shredded cheese you prefer).





Cut potatoes into quarters and cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow them to simmer 20 minutes or until tender.


Drain potatoes, reserving 3/4 cup of cooking liquid.


Return the potatoes and reserved liquid to the pan. Mash with a potato masher until slightly chunky.


Add broccoli, onion, cottage cheese, dill weed, salt, pepper and sour cream.


Spoon mixture into sprayed casserole dish.


Bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.Do you have a recipe for the best casserole in the world?
Creamy Burrito Casserole








8-10 servings 50 min 20 min prep





1 lb ground beef or ground turkey


1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped


1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning


6 large flour tortillas


1 (16 ounce) can refried beans


2-3 cups shredded taco cheese or cheddar cheese


1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup


4 ounces sour cream


jarred hot sauce, if desired to spice it up








Brown ground meat/turkey and onion; drain.


Add taco seasoning and stir in refried beans.


Mix soup and sour cream in a separate bowl.


Spread 1/2 sour cream mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish.


Tear up 3 tortillas and spread over sour cream mixture.


Put 1/2 the meat bean mixture over that.


Add a layer of cheese.


You could put some hot sauce on this now.


Repeat the layers.


Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake, uncovered, at 350掳F for 20-30 minutes.Do you have a recipe for the best casserole in the world?
Oh yes, My tuna noodle casserole is awsome!
2 boxes Au gratin scalloped potatoes(any flavor u like)


1/2c milk


1c cooked shredded chicken


1 can drained mushrooms


1/2 c. white wine(opt.)


garlic powder,salt, pepper


hot pepper flakes(optional)


top w/cheese(opt)


Prepare the potatoes according to the box(don't bake yet)


Mix in all the rest and bake according to box





You could use any vegis u like or make it all vegi.
You didn't say what kind!! Lasagna is a casserole so if that counts:


ground a pound and half of beef (or two pounds depending on how meaty you want it)


drain meat


mix the meat with 500 g of cottage cheese and some chopped up spinich - however much you want( you can cheat and buy the frozen stuff - thaw, squeeze all the water out - dry with paper towels if needed)


make your own sauce - cheat again - take a tin of crushed tomatoes, blend in pot with a bit of garlic, pepper, basil. or if you want to make it easy - buy pasta sauce.


Shread a good amount of mozzarella cheese.





Ok - so assemble:


spread sauce on bottom of large casserole dish till about 1/4 inch of sauce,


then spread (cheat version) - oven ready lasagne noodles to cover all the sauce, then spread, meat mixture about 1/2 inch thick, sprinkle shredded mozzarelli cheese lightly over, then next layer of noodles - same thing, just noodles to cover the whole thing, now spread sauce first, then do the meat mixture again, a bit of mozza cheese again, then - one more time - noodles. but this time: cover noodles with sauce. and a good layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover with tinfoil and back for about 40 minutes, take tinfoil off and cook for another 5-10 minutes to melt cheese on top. (bake at 375 ) just make sure that each layer of noodles has good amount of sauce either below it or on top of it.

hash brown casserole


1 2-pound package frozen hash brown potatoes, unthawed


1 10 3/4-ounce can cream of celery soup, undiluted


3 cups (packed) grated sharp cheddar cheese (about 12 ounces)


1 cup sour cream


1 cup finely chopped onion


1 6-ounce can french fried onions PreparationPreheat oven to 350掳F. Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Transfer to 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish. Bake until top is slightly golden, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Sprinkle with onions. Bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Recipe for Hearty Beef Noodle Casserole:


1 cup noodles


1 onion


1/2 green pepper


1 stalk celery


1 tablespoon butter


250g minced steak


1 teaspoon curry powder


1 chiken stock cube


1 cup water


2 tablespoon tomato paste


salt, pepper


150g cheddar cheese





Put noodles on to cook, peel and chop onion, and gently fry vegetables until tender, about 3 minutes. Add minced steak and curry powder and fry until meat is browned. Dissolve chicken cube in water and add to pan with tomato paste. Add cooked drained noodles and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.Turn into greased casserole and top with grated cheese. Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes.
