Nieman Marcus use to have a recipe if you search on line I am sure you will find
the recipe on the Nestle Toll House chocolate chips is fine.

It's more about HOW you make it not the recipe:

Make sure the butter is softened not melted

Don't beat the mixture after adding the flour too much

Make sure the oven is really preheated

Put cookies in oven on top rack

Use a melon ball scooper for placing dough on the cookie tray

When you mix the butter, sugars and vanilla make sure you beat it until it is like a cream then add 1 egg at a time and mix well

Don't overcook them

Use a cooling rack after you take them out of the oven

btw, Neiman Marcus cookies have instant espresso in it, that's what makes them different.
