I am on a diet..What is your best low fat/calorie dessert recipe?

pumpkin angel food cake:





one box of angel food cake


one regular can of pumpkin


one tablespoon pumpkin pie spice





make angel food cake according to box directions, stir in the can of pumpkin and spice. bake according to box directions.





this is a yummy fall treat, angel food cake is harmless to your diet in proportion, and the pumpkin adds fiber.

Nonfat yogurt. You can add fruit or granola. And there are plenty of ';low-calorie'; desserts on the market.





You aren't going to want to hear this, but the problem isn't that foods need to be made low-calorie so that people can still eat whatever they want. If you make cheeseburgers and ice cream ';lower calorie'; you're still eating unhealthy. It's better to acclimate yourself to eating lean protein and vegetables most of the time and eating treats like dessert very very occasionally. If you have dessert every few weeks instead of every day, you'll be able to have a real dessert like cake or pie instead of trying to get substitutes. The flavor will be much more enjoyable than fat free popsicles or cool whip.I am on a diet..What is your best low fat/calorie dessert recipe?
I too have problems finding something that is low cal or low fat that is a yummy dessert. But I was at a party one time and this hostess made a cake out of Ice Cream Sandwiches and whipped topping. I changed it up a lil bit and this really is good.





Ice Cream Cake





You need a box of sugar free Ice Cream Sandwiches (ICS)


1 container of sugar free cool whip (sfcw)


layer the ICS 6 side by side


spread the (sfcw) on the layer


place 6 more ICS on top of the (sfcw)


now take the remanding (sfcw) and spread over the ICS as if frosting a cake I then take a chocolate bar and shave some over the top of the cool whip just for decoration reason and top with sliced strawberries.





Make sure to place in the freezer for 15 - 20 mins to harden a bit. Then it is ready to cut and eat. This is a kid friendly treat also!!






This one is really good and tastes fattening but it's not. I mix it in a bowl and not the baking pan because it makes too much of a mess when you mix it then i pour it into the pan and add the final ingredients.





Hot Fudge Pudding Cake





During the baking a cake layer forms on top and a rich chocolate sauce appears on bottom. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whip cream.





1 cup Bisquick or biscuit/pancake mix


1 cup sugar


3 tablespoons plus 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder


1/2 cup milk


1 tsp vanilla


1 2/3 cup hot water


Powdered sugar (optional)





Mix bisquick, 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbs cocoa in a greased 8 inch square baking dish. Stir in milk and vanilla until well blended. Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1/3 cup cocoa and 1/2 cup sugar. Pour on water. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 40 minutes or until top is firm. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve at once in bowl with sauce spooned over cake. Make 6 servings.



sugar free jello with canned light whipped topping, about 30 cals.





I buy containers of cut up fruit, then put nonfat yogurt on top and add some granola or fiber cereal,ground flax seed.





even fat free can have sugars, its the sugars that can turn to fat also. better than fat free would be sugar free.





find a frozen yogurt place and buy a container and add your own fruit to it.





sugar free popsicles will curb a sweet tooth for a bit. even sugar free fudgesicles for that chocolate fix.





jelly beans don't have many calories either.





angel food cake with fresh berries in theri own juice, add a little fat free coolwhip. YUM
This is surprisingly good!


Low Fat Cherry Pie Dessert





Ingredients:


1 can sugar free cherry pie filling


1 box low fat graham crackers


1 can low fat whipped cream





Take a graham cracker, top with cherry pie filling, and garnish with whipped cream. It's easy and delicious.
Buy a sugar-free Angel Food cake (Walmart has them) -- split into 3 layers and put Non-fat Cool Whip and sliced strawberries between the layers, and on top ........





My husband loves sugar-free popsicles for a snack. They've about 5 calories, so you can have a couple at a time:)
Make diet jello w/ no-syrup-added canned fruit in it. Drain off the juice, and use some of that in dissolving the jello. Crushed pineapple is great; so is fruit cocktail w/ extra cherries.
Eat less then required and when u are hungry


just keep munching diet cornflakes available in the market and do yoga in the morning


avoid oily and sweet products


this will surely help in reducing about 7 8 kgs in a month

Dont cook. cooking is one of the unhealthiest things you could do. Instead go out to find dessert. I suggest going to mcdonalds and eating their yogurts or icecream
